- SCCM Pediatric Section Business meeting (and reception!) updated schedule for the upcoming 41st Critical Care Congress in Houston is available here... (pdf; 111K)
- Important announcements from SCCM Pediatric Section Chair, Jeff Burns:
The attached document includes important information about upcoming SCCM Council and Section elections that I hope you will post, and share with your pediatric critical care faculty and fellows.
- First, all active members of SCCM will receive an email from SCCM in the next few weeks regarding the election for the Member-at-Large position to SCCM Council. Our nominee is Dr. Vinay Nadkarni from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and I urge you to support his election to the Member-at-Large seat on Council in order to promote advocacy of pediatric concerns at the highest levels of SCCM.
- Second, the SCCM Pediatric Section is actively seeking nominations for two Member-at-Large positions to the Pediatric Section Steering Committee. This announcement details information on how to apply. Note that the deadline for nominations for the two Member-at-Large positions to the Pediatric Section Steering Committee is November 18, 2011.
- Last, the Pediatric Section Business Meeting will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 3:30-4:30 PM at SCCM's 41st Annual Critical Care Congress, in Houston. I would like to emphasize that all members of the Pediatric Section-faculty and fellows-are welcome to attend the Pediatric Business Meeting. It is a good opportunity to hear about the full spectrum of initiatives (clinical, educational and research) underway in our field and how interested individuals can become involved.
I look forward to seeing you in Houston, and will have more information about Pediatric events at the Annual Congress as the date gets closer.
